Bored of work, bored of facebook, bored of email, bored of news, bored of cairo, bored of people, bored of traffic, bored of sitting at a desk day in day out, bored of inactivity, bored of smoking all day at the office, bored of doing fuckall with my life, bored of not doing enough, bored of writing shitty corporate bollocks that means zilch, yes, the boredom which usually visits me at the one year mark has set in.

I had a beautiful morning, I woke up early and I began to read. What I read took me back to Napoli, to Sorrento, to a place high upon a cliff, to Limoncello, to freshly made six-course dinners..

We were so young and brave..

I felt alive with those memories, full of positive energy and buzzing off the vibes; what I read made me jump up and down with joy on the bed like a kid.

I looked back, I looked around, I realised that however chaotic and random it has been, I have always had good people put on my path.

I thought of you, my longtime friend.
