Milky Way Revamp

This image taken from the NASA website shows the latest version of what our galaxy looks like, new infrared images (800,000 to be exact) from the Spitzer telescope have made it possible to get a much more realistic view of where we live - some are of the opinion that this latest image has downgraded the galaxy somehow, but it still looks nice and spirally to me.
